MySports GmbH is transforming from a booking portal provider with a free app into a pure software provider with products that support you in the digitalization of your service. The company offers digital solutions at the highest level, for training support, self-service, communication, member acquisition and retention, all perfectly integrated into your Magicline. To provide you with all the information you need, we have compiled the most important questions and answers about the reorganization and the new MySports Member Platform.

Contract

How do I start with MySports Member Platform?

Log in to your Magicline. You can activate the MySports Member Platform via the banner displayed there or via the Magicline app store. You have the choice between two versions:

  • MySports Member Platform with MySports Member App
  • MySports Member Platform with Branded App in your studio design

Can I add MySports Member Platform to every Magicline package?

Yes, you can add MySports Member Platform to all Magicline packages. The Ultimate package even includes MySports Member Platform.

Do I need to activate MySports Member Platform for each of my studios?

Yes, you have to activate it for each location.

Do I need to conclude a new contract for MySports Member Platform?

Yes, because the new MySports Member Platform is an offer from MySports GmbH, with whom you have to conclude a separate contract for the service.

Do I have to reconfigure everything if I already have MySports and switch to the MySports Member Platform?

No, your existing configurations will be retained. You can simply carry on as usual – and now use even more functions.

Who is my contractual partner?

The contractual partner is MySports GmbH – a digital partner for fitness studios that is deeply integrated into Magicline.

When does the contract start?

The contract begins immediately after conclusion of the MySports Member Platform contract.

What if I don’t want to use the MySports Member Platform?

You can then decide in favor of a third-party provider, for example. Find out more in the Magicline Marketplace.

How long is the contract period for the new MySports Member Platform?

The initial term is 12 months. If the contract is not cancelled, it will be extended for a further 12 months.

Do I have an extraordinary right of cancellation?

No, there is no extraordinary right of cancellation, as the MySports member app was previously provided to you as a free service. This is now changing.

Does MySports Member Platform count as a partner integration?

No, MySports is an additional module that you can book independently of your price package and your partner integrations included in the package.

Is it possible to test MySports Member Platform in advance?

No, this option does not currently exist. If you would like to get an insight into the MySports Member Platform, please book an appointment with us.

Features

Is only the MySports app subject to a charge?

No, MySports Member Platform is much more than just the app. This also includes the studio and offer pages and the MySports member web – i.e. your websites on mysports.com – which you use to sell day tickets, trial training sessions and other offers and many features related to your member support such as customer loyalty programs or referral programs and much more more. MySports is now bundling these and even more helpful functions in the new MySports Member Platform package.

What is included in the new MySports Member Platform?

Now you can combine your Magicline, the tried-and-tested software for efficient studio operations, with the new MySports Member Platform from MySports GmbH for ideal member support. With this comprehensive package, you can not only motivate and activate your members even more, but also increase your turnover at the same time.

The new MySports Member Platform does not only include the top-rated MySports member app with all its features, but also functionalities that were previously included in some of the higher price packages of your Magicline software. This allows you to fully focus on your members.

What’s new? Did the functions already exist?

Yes, that is correct. What’s new is that we have now bundled all the functions related to your member support into one overall package. This package can now be booked as an add-on to every Magicline package. In addition, the MySports Member Platform will continue to be expanded in the future so that you have everything you need for successful member support and sales at your fingertips.

What will change with the introduction of the MySports Member Platform?

You can now book the MySports Member Platform package independently of your Magicline price package and use many features that support you in your member service.

Will the functions of the MySports member app change?

Yes. With the MySports Member Platform from MySports GmbH you get many more functions that you can use for your member support. These include the referral program, the customer loyalty program and much more. Your familiar app functions will of course remain the same.

Which member apps are available?

  • MySports member app: Your MySports Member Platform including the member app in the MySports design.
  • Branded member app: Your MySports Member Platform including the branded app in your own studio design.

What is the difference between MySports Member Platform with MySports member app and MySports Member Platform with branded app?

With the MySports Member Platform with branded app, you get the package in your studio design. Whether app, app store presence or web presence – everything shines in your name, your color scheme and your brand. Compared to the MySports Member Platform package, your members will not see any reference to the MySports brand.

What does waiting list mean for the Branded App?

You can currently put yourself on the waiting list for the MySports Member Platform with Branded app. This version of the member app will then be developed and created together with you.

Until your branded app will be in place, you will use the MySports Member App at the corresponding MySports Member Platform price. As soon as the branded app is available to you, the price will be adjusted to the branded version.

What happens to my presence on www.mysports.com?

The website www.mysports.com as a booking portal with the comprehensive search for gyms and map view will be discontinued from April 1st, 2024. The area for your studio (www.mysports.com/meinstudio) will remain as an individual page, but will no longer be linked to the booking portal. You can continue to offer courses or trial training sessions, for example, and thus guarantee your lead generation.
However, your landing page is no longer connected to the MySports booking portal that you are familiar with. In addition, it will no longer be offered free of charge, but will be part of the MySports Member Platform as a so-called MySports Member Web.

Can I still sell day tickets, trial training sessions, etc. online without the MySports Member Platform?

No, the MySports Web is part of the MySports Member Platform. In order to sell day tickets, trial training sessions, etc. or to use landing pages, you need to activate the new package.

I thought that the MySports member app and booking portal were part of the Magicline?

No, these were offered by MySports GmbH, with whom you have concluded a separate contract. This grants MySports GmbH the right to discontinue the free service with one month’s notice at the end of a calendar month.

Data

Will there be any changes to the data protection regulations?

The MySports Member Platform is offered by MySports GmbH. You conclude a separate contract for this, including the applicable data protection provisions. These will be made available to you in the contract process.

What happens to my data if I no longer wish to use MySports?

Your data will be treated in accordance with the MySports GmbH data protection guidelines.
